POSTER MAKING

As a gesture to celebrate the birthday of our Secretary Dr Vishwajeet Kadam we at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Mangement Studies and Research and Institute of Management Technology organized a poster making competitionwith the theme “Save girl child” as It is very clear that a girl child always become blessing for the society and reason for the continuation of life in this world. We worship many female Goddesses at various festivals however never feel a little bit of kind to the women living in our home. Truly, the girls are pillars of the society. Female infanticide is a concern in our country and even the Prime Minister of India,Mr. NarendraModi has said in his speech on girl child that “Am Standing Before you as Beggar”. He has launched a nationwide campaign named “BetiBachao-BetiPadhao” (means Save the Girl Child and Educate Her).

Aqua Respire, Cloth bag donation

Plastic bags are everywhere! Everyday, we are handed countlessplastic bags: when we go to the grocery store, retail clothing storebook store, restaurants, etc. Yes, sometimes, plastic bags areconvenient, as they are water resistant and light and inexpensivecompared to paper bags. Most of the time, plastic bags aresuperfluous and avoidable. It seems as though store clerks are ofteneager to hand out plastic bags for any and all kind of purchases.Sometimes, a plastic bag is just not necessary for that apple. So we the students of BVIMSR along with Rotaract Club of Bharati Vidyapeeth Belapur distributed cloth bags to people for free against a owe of not using plastic bags.

And our second activity for the same day was AQUA RESPIRE where we distributed water to people working under the hot sun, right from traffic police to Mason’s.
